Orphanage
Letter from the President
I want to share with you the need for more shelter space for the growing number of helpless orphan children
who are innocent victims of the ‘holocaust’ style devastations caused by
the seemingly uncontrollable AIDS epidemic. The rapid spread of this killer disease is leaving on its dismal path a trail
of orphaned children clinging to their deceased parents' memories.
There is still an urgent need for rapid intervention. We must prayerfully do whatever it takes to come to the rescue of these children who would, otherwise,
be doomed to die in most despicable, atrocious and inhumane manner.
For $20 a month we can meet the basic needs of one child
We need individuals and Christian organizations to partner with Cry Cameroon Ministries [USA]. If you wish to partner with us in supporting Harvest Children’s Home,
please contact us.
Permanent Solution
In response to the growing number of homeless and abandoned children, Cry Cameroon Ministries [USA] was established in 1992 to care for these needs.
In the past, we were only able to provide food, clothing, healthcare, and education to 60 of the most needy children.
As of today, a permanent solution is in place. A modern Cameroonian facility currently accommodates, on average, 70 children with room for more as needed.
The HCH compound consists of 3 buildings – 1 large dormitory divided into 4 sections (1 section each for younger and older girls; and 1 section each for younger
and older boys), 1 administration building that also houses the dispensary and infirmary, and 1 guest building that also has the dining hall/activity center for the children.
A 4th building is currently under construction that will house a much larger traditional kitchen area for preparing food for the children as well as a new dining hall for them.
